Remote access

The Remote Access module consists of three sections:

• Remote desktop, remote computer management

• Automation of tasks

• User data backup

Each registered ITM Agent allows for a remote connection for online job management. The most important functions include desktop takeover, remote operations and file transfer. These functions are also available for positions outside the LAN. Desktop takeover can take place after user authorisation and allows you to define connection parameters such as the active monitor. The administrator can send messages to selected users and start a text chat.

The ITManager system offers a task wizard to install software packages and scripts for selected positions, organisational units and locations. For each task, it is possible to set a start-up date. Additionally, the ITM Agent provides information on the status of task execution (delivered, launched, executed).

The system also enables central management of user data backup within the scope and schedule specified by the administrator. The mechanism built in the ITM Agent will create a copy of data according to a specific policy and send the data to a specified location.
